We decided to go to the local Zoo the week before Michael started work. It was nice and quiet. The kids were not as impressed as I thought they might be, but it was a tad close to their nap times. This is a Rescue Zoo, so Michael and I were quite surprised at some of the bigger animals they had. They were a little too close for comfort for me. I prefer to see big ditches and more secured fencing between me and the animal. The Jaguar came snarling at me with claws and mouth open as I tried to take a pic. Michael and I swallowed our hearts and moved on with caution. I was so freaked out, we forgot to ride the Zoo train! Sorry kids, maybe next time...(when we can all be adorned in armor and carry swords).

I know the beasties are too close, but I had my problem in the petting zoo area...I did NOT read the sign about not taking animal food in there...One HUGE goat jumped on me and kicked me in the jaw! I dropped the bag and ran! CrAzY
