After news of my Uncle, I have been in a slight slump. I did manage to have a fantastic Birthday, thanks to the Hubby! We went to M.Falls for dinner on the 31st with the Fam (it is a B-day tradition for all). I enjoyed my annual steak...yummm and it was topped off with my fave pecan pie! The babes were asleep by the time (the very few) trick or treaters came to PaPa's house and, of course, Michael got away with a bucket full of candy.
Saturday we headed to the Celtic Festival (our new family tradition) just in time to see my favorite Bagpipers (Silver Thistle). I always tear up when I hear them. Incidentally, we had one of them play at our wedding. Love Love Loved it! So much joy to see my babes enjoying them, too. Well, Allie had to cover her ears a bit...oh well! After some fish and chips and enjoying the sights, we headed home for some rest before the big game (ugghhh, bummer).

ohhhh nooooo we missed the Celtic festival!!! We went last year and all I can say is that I can throw one hell of a javelin or whatever that thing was in the Roman's camp. Mia really LOVED dancing last year! UGH. I'm sooo bummed, but glad you went and had a super fab time....
next year, remind me and we can all meet out there :)
