The kids say "No, Hold It!!" (instead of "let go")
Liam, what does the lobster say?
Response: "Eat Me"
We were in a store (Target) one day and Allie was having a "come apart" (tantrum). An employee asked if she would like a sticker. Allie loves stickers and was immediately put at ease. I am not one to reward negative behavior, but if a staff member wants to...Go For It.
Another day, another trip to a store (Costco). A staff member came and asked if we were finding everything okay and told Allie she was so cute.
Allie's response: "More Sticker?" "No Allie, not everyone carries stickers", I tell her.
More days and trips to stores pass. More staff people talking to us and more of the same question from Allie..."More sticker?"
Almost given up hope, Allie has a meltdown at the check out counter at Whole Foods (she ate all her snack and was in need of a nap...big time). A staff lady comes up with a hand full of stickers. Allie was in awe as she scrambled to pick which ones she wanted. We shared some with "Bubby". These pics were taken five minutes after leaving Whole Foods....
The kids say "All done eating" after a meal.
Mommy cleans face, hands and trays.
Allie says "Restaurant"
Aunt Darby and Aunt Kelly come over for a visit. Daddy has to use the restroom.
He comes out in less than 2 minutes.
Allie's screams out "Bye poo poo potty!"
Beer="Daddy's juice" (or Mommy's, depending)
Mommy's "girly" product = "Mommy's sticker"
Quote of the week given by Allie before going up to bed.
"Goodnight, Mommy. I love you!"
(tears rolled down my face)
They both say this to me now...so adorable!
